How to Accept a Pending Payment on PayPal

If you have yet to complete the PayPal setup process, your payment will sit pending in your PayPal account for up to 30 days. To claim a payment, make sure your PayPal account is fully set up to send and receive payments linked to your bank account.

If this setup is complete, accepting a pending PayPal payment is simple:

  1. Log into PayPal
  2. Go to Summary
  3. Under ‘Pending’, next to the message showing the recipient ‘hasn’t accepted yet’, click Approve
