Indeed, the 10 richest people in the world saw their collective value increase by the figure after Trump’s return to the Oval Office.

The returning president beat out currency Vice President Kamala Harris in a dominant showing for the Republican party. Moreover, he is now the 15th president in history to serve a second term, as the oldest individual to be elected as commander-in-chief is already paying dividends for the economic elite.

With the historic election seeing Donald Trump return to the White House, the development has driven significant wealth into the stock market and some of the world’s richest.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, Donald Trump’s election win has driven $64 billion into the collective net worth of the top 10 richest people in the world. Among them, perhaps no one benefitted as much as Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Musk had emerged as a key player throughout Trump’s ongoing presidential campaign. Earlier this year, Trump announced that the SpaceX head would lead a government spending division. Ultimately, Musk’s net worth increased by $26.5 billion to reach $290 billion after the election results.
