More on Adidas Metaverse

This latest announcement by Adidas is not the only net the company has cast into the crypto waters. Just last week, the sportswear company revealed its partnership with Coinbase, a giant crypto exchange.

Adidas, later on, tweeted about their partnership with The Sandbox, a blockchain game. The tweet hinted at Adidas buying land on the blockchain game. The company’s first dip in the world of NFTs was when it launched a Proof of Attendance Protocol token two weeks ago.

Users get the POAP token after they visit a particular web page. The token allows the owners to exchange it for a mystery item in the future. So far, there have been 3832 resales of the free token. Initially, Adidas minted over 3,300 copies of the token.
