The Amazon stock price target has moved higher this month, and it is now sitting well above where it was just a few weeks ago. Citi and Roth MKM both raised their forecasts after Amazon’s latest earnings report, and the broader Amazon stock prediction on Wall Street is leaning bullish right now. AMZN stock Wall Street analysts still rate the company a Strong Buy, and the average Amazon 12-month price target keeps climbing as more firms update their numbers.

Citi Raises Amazon Stock Price Target After Earnings

Citi analyst Ronald Josey reiterated his Buy rating on Amazon, and he also raised his Amazon stock price target from $325 to $350. The upgrade followed Amazon’s late-July earnings report, which gave the stock an extra push. Roth MKM’s Rohit Kulkarni made a similar call, and he lifted his own target from $300 to $325 while keeping his Buy rating in place too. Kulkarni’s note also pointed to Amazon’s expanding AWS margins as a reason behind the higher call, and he flagged rising returns from the company’s AI spending as well.

AMZN Stock Wall Street Consensus Sets 12-Month Targets

The Citi and Roth MKM revisions line up with the wider AMZN stock Wall Street consensus that formed right after earnings. TipRanks shows Amazon shares carrying a Strong Buy rating overall, with 39 Buy calls, one Hold, and no Sell recommendations among the analysts it tracks, and that lines up with why the Amazon stock price target keeps rising. On average, the Amazon 12-month price target now implies a rally of more than 20 percent from where shares traded in early August, and the average target sits somewhere above $330. The Street-high estimate stands at $400, a number Benchmark analyst Daniel Kurnos set on July 31, and it remains the most bullish Amazon stock price target on the Street at the time of writing.

What Is Driving The Bullish Amazon Stock Prediction

A good chunk of the newer Amazon stock prediction comes down to AWS, which grew a lot faster than analysts had penciled in for the second quarter. Morningstar analyst Dan Romanoff had this to say about it:

“AWS was strong, with growth accelerating sharply to 37% year over year”

That growth rate was the cloud unit’s fastest pace in 18 quarters, and it kept showing up across the notes behind the higher Amazon stock price target calls that came out this month. Amazon also raised its 2026 capital spending guidance to $220 billion from $200 billion, and analysts read that as a sign of real confidence in AI-driven demand for AWS going forward.

Citi, Roth MKM, and the rest of the Street now line up on higher numbers, and the Amazon stock price target is likely to stay in focus over the next few weeks. That kind of Amazon stock prediction lines up with what analysts have been saying since earnings, and the AMZN stock Wall Street outlook still leans higher for now. Citi’s Amazon stock coverage remains one of the calls investors watch closely on the Street, and they will keep an eye on whether the next round of Amazon 12-month price target updates pushes even higher.
