The global cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, just announced a partnership with The Weeknd, creating the first crypto-powered international music tour. Binance announced that the exchange would be sponsoring The Weeknd’s “After Hours Till Dawn” global tour. The tour will commence on July 8, 2022.

The collaboration marks the first-ever global music tour focusing on integrating Web3 technology for the fans.

“Binance is all about the community, about people, about inclusion. I was impressed by their focus on users and innovative edge.” “It made perfect sense to work together and I can’t wait for fans to experience crypto within a creative avenue while supporting a good cause. There are so many possibilities with crypto and I think this is just the beginning.”

Binance will also release an exclusive NFT for The Weeknd’s tour

Binance has teamed up with HXOUSE, a community incubator for creative businesses, to offer an exclusive NFT line as well as co-branded tour apparel for The Weeknd’s tour.

To celebrate the launch of the tour, Binance will also donate $2 million to the XO Humanitarian Fund. The Weeknd established the XO Humanitarian Fund earlier this year to support the World Food Programme’s life-saving emergency operations in hunger-stricken areas throughout the globe. The Weeknd and Binance will also donate 5% of their exclusive NFT sales to the XO Humanitarian Fund.

“We are excited to be an exclusive crypto partner of The Weeknd’s tour, giving fans and people the ability to interact with crypto in a new avenue.” “Crypto is community-centric and we believe this partnership embodies that, including empowering local artists and giving back, through a mainstream platform.”
