The Arrest Details

Authorities arrested Ben Armstrong, widely known as BitBoy, in Volusia County and are holding him without bail. The BitBoy arrested warrant apparently stems from emails he sent to a judge while representing himself in court. Official records show that he was charged with “FUGITIVE F/ JUSTICE” on March 25 at 19:18, and at the time of writing, he remains in custody.

This isn’t really Armstrong’s first brush with the law amid crypto influencer scandal accusations. He was previously arrested on September 25, 2023, in Gwinnett County, Georgia, following an ugly dispute over a Lamborghini with his former business partner, which happened to be broadcast live on social media.

The BitBoy arrested situation also reflects broader concerns about influencer accountability and investor protection in digital assets, such as Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
