According to Farside Investors, BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF, IBIT, purchased more than $500 million worth of BTC on April 14 and 15, 2026. The world’s largest asset manager’s latest purchase coincides with BTC briefly reclaiming the $75,000 price level. IBIT currently holds about $59.31 billion worth of Bitcoin (BTC). Farside data shows that IBIT saw a majority of inflows in the first two weeks of April 2026, with only three days of outflows. BlackRock’s average cost of each Bitcoin (BTC) is around $89,000. It is possible that the asset manager is buying the dip in anticipation of a bullish outbreak soon. US tech stocks saw an upswing this week, which trickled into the crypto market as well. Bitcoin’s (BTC) resistance has risen to around $75,500 from the earlier level of $72,000-$73,000. The higher highs could be a sign that the market is gearing up for an upward push.

ETF inflows could be seen as a sign of what fund managers are feeling. BlackRock’s latest half a billion purchase could be seen as a bullish outlook from the world’s largest asset manager.

However, there is a chance that the crypto market will face a price dip in the coming days. The US-Iran conflict continues to plague market participants, and chances of an interest rate cut in April 2026 are very low. Geopolitical tensions and higher rates could keep investors away from risky assets such as Bitcoin (BTC) and other cryptocurrencies.

However, Bitcoin (BTC) could sustain its rally if it can breach the $76,000 price level. There seems to be very less demand above current resistance levels as it appears this level is the average price of a large number of holders. How things unfold is yet to be seen.
