NYC Police say the body of a Goldman Sachs analyst was pulled today from the waters of Newtown Creek Tuesday less than half a mile from where he went missing. The Goldman Sachs analyst, identified as John Castic, had been missing for a few days.
John Castic, a 27-year-old Illinois native who lived in Lower Manhattan, disappeared after leaving a concert at The Brooklyn Mirage at about 3 a.m. Saturday, according to the NYPD.
Police say at around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, a man spotted a bloated, shirtless body floating face-down in the English Kills, a branch of the East River tributary, near 1100 Grand Street. The body was later identified as that of the missing Goldman Sachs analyst John Castic.

Sources have yet to confirm any foul play in Castic’s death.
