BRICS growth, expansion, and de-dollarization initiatives are not going down well with America, hinted Russia’s senior diplomat Sergey Ryabkov. The diplomat said that BRICS must safeguard itself from “harmful external forces” that are looking to sow discord among member countries. The senior Russian diplomat cautioned against “underestimating” America and Western opposition in the area of sowing discord among member countries. He stressed that developing countries must not underestimate America’s might in creating tensions with friendly nations.

However, Ryabkov said that America might fail in creating turmoil in BRICS as members have a better understanding. BRICS “have a well-developed diplomatic service and huge experience,” in this area, he said.
