Paying with Venmo at Walmart is very simple, and can be done in two ways. Firstly, you can use the Venmo app on your phone. If you already have Venmo on your phone and are logged in, follow these steps when you’re finished shopping:

  1. Proceed to a normal register or self-checkout.
  2. Ring up your items.
  3. When it’s time to pay, select Venmo as your preferred payment option.
  4. When it is time to pay, go to the Venmo app on your phone and click Scan located in the bottom left corner.
  5. Scan the QR code displayed on the checkout screen.

Once you scan the code, the payment should go through successfully if you have adequate funds in your account or a valid payment method. You can also receive an optional receipt for the purchase.

Alternatively, if you prefer not to use the Venmo app, you can opt to use a Venmo credit or debit card instead. When checking out at Walmart, simply complete the transaction like you would with that credit or debit card.

However, it’s important to note that not all Walmart stores currently accept Venmo payments. Some stores may have not yet opted-in to offer this payment method. Hence, you should check with your preferred Walmart location to make sure that Venmo is a valid payment option.
