The creation of Cardano, which made its debut in 2017, was influenced by the Italian polymath Gerolamo Cardano. Cardano creator Charles Hoskinson disclosed information regarding the August 2021 Alonzo hard fork. The following month, Cardano’s price increased by 116% as a result of this announcement.

The Vasil hard fork’s debut was one of the team’s most eagerly anticipated updates, along with the Ethereum merge. The hard fork was successful, despite some roadblocks that were encountered.

Cardano says SECP is another reason to fall in love with ADA

According to the latest announcement from the Input Output Twitter account, the Valentine upgrade, also known as the SECP upgrade, is being deployed to develop secure cross-chain dApp development with Plutus.

Once the upgrade is deployed, developers will be able to create dApps. These dApps will also be able to interact with other blockchains.
