$13 trillion asset manager Charles Schwab plans to add Solana SOL, Avalanche (AVAX), and Chainlink LINK trading to Schwab Crypto accounts. Per a press release, Schwab Crypto clients will be able to buy and sell these cryptocurrencies in the coming months. The Charles Schwab crypto platform already provides direct access to bitcoin and ethereum trading.

“With this expansion, clients will have more choices to build a digital asset allocation alongside the investing and banking experience they know and trust at Schwab,” said Joe Vietri, Head of Digital Assets at Charles Schwab. “These additions are consistent with our approach to provide clients with access to familiar cryptocurrencies backed by an ecosystem of education, tools, resources, and support to make informed decisions about how crypto might fit into their broader investing goals.”

Charles Schwab is one of several top asset management companies in the US that have begun offering crypto services to its clientele. The addition of SOL, AVAX, and LINK token trading comes at a convenient time, as the crypto market is currently experiencing a resurgence thanks to the surge in Bitcoin’s price this August. AVAX is up 15% in the last 30 days, while SOL and LINK are up over 40% each in the same span.
