Coinbase will be taking Bored Ape Yacht Club to Hollywood with its own film trilogy featuring a few select apes.
Coinbase is going behind the camera for this trilogy to feature the BAYC ape NFTs. The three-part film will pay tribute to the BAYC community and will be developed by Coinbase.
The BAYC holders have to submit their apes on the Degent Trilogy website to be a part of the film. The submissions will be reviewed and selected by the director and casting director.

Even if you are a non-ape holder, you can still access the Degent trilogy website, connect your Coinbase wallet and access updates, drops, and easter eggs. Etc.
The viewers will also get a chance to vote for their favorite character and storyline to help take the story series in their direction.

He also added that in a mission of bringing the next billion people into the crypto ecosystem, this interactive film would act as a bridge that can help people understand the mission and nature of web3.
The Degen Trilogy is set to premiere in June, with both the ape holders and non-ape holders community having the freedom to input their ideas of the film’s plot.
The collaboration by Coinbase is a much-awaited testing out of its media arm for film productions. Immediately after the release, the film will be wallet-gated on the Coinbase website. Users will have to create a Coinbase wallet to be able to watch the film.
The trilogy will also hint at the release of the much-awaited NFT marketplace by Coinbase.
