The lead developer of SHIB, Shytoshi Kusama announced that Shiba Inu is entering the food business segment by partnering with Welly’s. The fast-food joint was first launched in October 2021.
After signing a deal with the meme token, it rebranded itself in similar lines and aligned itself with the SHIB-theme. The rebranding took a week’s time and now the outlet portrays everything SHIB.
Where Is Shiba Inu’s Welly Fast Food Joint Located?
Welly is located in Naples, Italy and the store is open for business from today with the SHIB rebranding. Customers can walk up to the outlet and order their favorite food that’s available on the menu.

How Big is the Welly Outlet?
The store is a small outlet measuring not more than 500 feet. It is compact with a few seats for dine-in. Looking at the pictures released in the Medium blog, there are two tables and a few seats.
The SHIB-themed dog is seen smiling in the branding and the store is designed with blue and white interiors. A board at the outlet display shows a burger available for 6.40 Euros.
What’s On The Welly Menu?
Welly has fries and cool drinks, burgers with meat, and also boasts of vegan options. The fast-food joint caters to all types of appetites with their newly available options.
However, the menu will slowly be revised and expanded with newer items on the card.
How Did the Idea of Welly Come To Life?
Their Medium blog says, “We were able to develop a plan based on expansion through the sale of NFT’s.” The blog also mentions that Welly’s direction can be decided by investors as well. “However just selling NFTs to grow our stores isn’t enough. We want the community to gain rewards, and have a say in the direction of Welly.”
The way for investors to speak their minds about Welly will be powered by Doggy DAO. “The first fast-food chain governed and powered by its community through the help of $SHIB and its DOGGY DAO,” the blog read.
Welly’s Global Expansion Plans
The SHIB team has confirmed that they plan for Welly’s expansion across the globe in the future.
The fast-food chain will cater to the taste of its host country and design its menu accordingly. However, there is no clear picture as to when the expansion is scheduled to happen.
