Everything is a song and dance the first time you enter the cryptocurrency market. The way the chart moves, exploring different coins, and making your first buy, there’s a sense of euphoria all around. Meet-ups with friends seem exciting while you discuss cryptos at the start of your investing period and everything feels like a tailor-made dream. Nonetheless, every dream has to come to an end and that is where reality strings hard. The sting comes in the form of a crash, dip, non-performance and it welcomes you to the world of ‘cryptocurrency stress’.

Accept it! Being a cryptocurrency investor is stressful and can drain you out mentally. As days pass by, nothing seems to be moving. When it’s moving, it’s mostly going in the opposite direction. You boast to friends about profits but intentionally hide to mention the losses. Also, you think there’s a chance to make use of the dip and spend more money only to realize it’s dipping further and you were still early.

Despite reading the charts, countless articles, predictions, and whatnot timing the market is truly the hardest job. Also, checking your trading app all the time becomes less of a necessity and more of an addiction. There is suddenly no way out of the crypto maze and the walls have closed in. In addition, you’ve lost more money than you’ve gained.

This is when the stress kicks in and all your dreams come crashing right at your feet.

The first culprit causing you all the stress is your own trading app. Checking the prices hysterically each day adds to the burden of stress making you feel low. Learn to look away. In fact, train yourself to stay away from it. If you master this art of not checking the prices every day after investing, you’re already a free man/woman.

Another thing to avoid is to stop discussing cryptos with friends during every meet-up. Talking about the topic can ignite your mind to think about it again and again. Refrain from the topic and choose to discuss life in general. This would make you feel happy and keep stress at bay by not putting it on the threshold.
