India’s leading cryptocurrency exchange WazirX was exploited by hackers last week who drained $230 million worth of funds. The hack sent the trading platform into a tailspin but stopped the hackers from draining further funds. The cryptocurrency platform has now increased its security and is looking to recover the $230 million that was stolen by hackers.

In a new announcement, WazirX revealed that it would reward 10% of the $230 million funds that were stolen if professionals recover the amount that was drained. 10% of the $230 million worth of funds account for $23 million. Therefore, if someone recovers the amount from the hackers, they stand a chance to gain $23 million from cryptocurrency exchange WazirX.

Ethereum – $52.5 million
Shiba Inu – $102 million
Matic – $11.24 million
Pepe Coin – $7.6 million
GALA – $3.5 million
Tether USDT – $5.79 million, and many more.

Cryptocurrency: $23 Million Reward If WazirX Stolen Funds Are Retrieved
Anyone from around the world can join in helping the cryptocurrency platform WazirX to retrieve their $230 million stolen funds. Also, WazirX says that the program could run for three months and could be extended if the funds are not recovered.

“This reward will be disbursed only after and subject to the successful receipt of the stolen amount by WazirX. The said rewards shall be payable in USDT or in the form of recovered funds at the sole discretion of WazirX,” the cryptocurrency exchange said.
