In his latest interview with the TBPN, Binance’s Changpeng Zhao shared his new stance, the one that does not want to reveal Satoshi Nakamoto’s true identity. Per Wu Blockchain’s summarized updates, CZ in this interview reiterated how he does not know who Satoshi Nakamoto truly is. He later shared that he would not reveal Satoshi’s real identity to anyone even if he knew. Zhao revealed the repercussions of this development, the fact that unmasking Nakamoto’s identity could end up jeopardizing Bitcoin, bringing in centralization issues around the tech.

In simpler terms, CZ revealed how the fact that Bitcoin remains decentralized is due to the fact that its founder is no longer involved with the project.

“… Uh, no. Unfortunately, I don’t. Uh, even if I did, I would have said no, but I honestly don’t … . What makes Bitcoin unique is that we don’t know why the founders are no longer participating. He may not be around. He may not be participating. So uh that makes it more decentralized. Um, I think that’s a good thing, and we should come to terms. I came to terms with it quite a while ago. So even though I’m curious, I’m not actively looking. Yeah.”
