Amidst the ongoing downtrend in the market, the Shiba Inu [SHIB] community was presented with a shock. News about Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous lead developer of the network making a public appearance took over. While attending the ongoing IVS (Infinity Venture Summit) conference in Kyoto, Japan, Kusama hinted that he will be holding his first-ever meet-and-greet with members of the Shiba Inu community. The developer said that he would be there for the meet-and-greet session at Shiba Inu’s special booth. He even shared a tweet that read,
“See you tomorrow at around noon in the @IVS_Official Shiba Inu booth for my first EVER meet and greet! I’m excited to meet you all in Kyoto #shibarmy”
Although Kusama made this appearance, he was hiding his identity from the people by donning a mask. Within the Shiba Inu community, images and videos of the disguised Kusama have become extremely popular. Video footage from Kuro, a SHIB community member in Japan, claims that during the conference’s meet-and-greet at SHIB’s booth, people struck up a conversation with Kusama.

The man is dressed in what appears to be a Batman outfit. The mask was covering most of his face which resembles a Black Death plague doctor mask. This mask is placed above a mask that covers his whole face and only has openings for him to see through.
Was It Really Shytoshi Kusama?
Some were glad to meet the man behind the Shiba Inu network, but others harbored doubts. With his face closed off by two masks, it was hard for anybody to determine if that was the true SHIB boss. Meanwhile, SHIB was trading at $0.00001395 with a 24-hour drop of nearly 6%.
