The short answer to whether Marshalls takes Apple Pay is yes. However, it is important to note that the popular consumer retail chain accepts the payment method at some of its locations. Moreover, Marshalls is a sister company to another popular retail store, TJ Maxx, which has also stated it accepts Apple Pay.

The official Marshall’s website addressed whether or not it accepted the popular mobile payment application. Specifically, it stated that Apple Pay can be used “as a payment option with a T.J. Maxx account or as a guest.” Additionally, it noted that Apple Pay is acceptable for purchases at its online store. A process easily executed during checkout.

The two stores have the same policies regarding payment options, so it is fair to assume that both can accept the use of the digital payment method. Additionally, Marshalls also accepts all traditional payment options, including credit or debit cards. Moreover, users can use a TJX gift card at TJ Maxx locations and are still able to use Apple Pay in conjunction.

Conversely, for users with an Apple Pay account who also shop at Marshall’s, you are in luck. It appears as though most of the Marshalls locations will accept the payment method. Which is certainly good for users.

Additionally, Marshall’s online store accepts Apple Pay as a form of payment. Although the physical location will require an adequate card reader to facilitate the purchase, all online transactions can be facilitated through the application.

As we previously stated regarding TJ Maxx online, Marshalls takes the same approach. However, it is important that you conduct your order with the same device that you have your Apple Pay account set up on. Thus, if Apple Pay is enabled on your iPhone, you have to place the order with that device.

Additionally, Marshalls also features convenient mobile applications. Subsequently, this makes the online purchasing process all the easier, while the same rules for online ordering with Apple Pay apply to the transaction.

The use of Apple Pay at both the physical location and the online store is incredibly simple. For the former, you only need to tap your device on the card reader presented to you and double-tap to confirm the transaction. Moreover, for the online store, you only need to select the option at the checkout. This applies to both the website and the mobile applications.

The massive expanse of products available at Marshall’s makes the process so much easier. Specifically, you can execute an Apple Pay transaction at Marshall’s through any number of Apple products with which the service is compatible. This includes an iPhone, iPad, Macbook, or even an Apple Watch.
