Altcoin fans had an incredible year in 2021. Several new altcoins saw the light of day, with many of them showcasing very unique utilities. Safemoon is one such coin that saw incredible growth in popularity and use. Rapper Lil Yachty, YouTuber and Social Media Influencer Jake Paul, musician Nick Carter, were some of the many personalities that endorsed the coin on their platforms.

SafeMoon launched V2, an improved version of the SFM contract, in December of 2021. A 1000:1 consolidation, comparable to a reverse stock split, is included in the amended contract.

SAFEMOON’S PLANS FOR THE FUTURE : OPERATION PHOENIX

2022 is bringing a whole new phase to the Safemoon ecosystem. The founders of Safemoon have recently revealed their plans for the future with Operation Phoenix. Operation Phoenix is not a single operation, but rather a plethora of innovations under one roof. Wind turbines and nanotechnology are two of the technologies included in this initiative.

By producing compact and super-efficient wind turbines, the technology is decentralizing wind turbine energy technology. Safemoon‘s tiny turbines will aid in the decentralization of wind turbine energy technology by allowing consumers to purchase and construct their own turbines. This is a groundbreaking idea that could have a tremendous impact on not only the crypto-verse but on the energy industry in general.

Operation Phoenix is first expected to roll out in the African nation of Gambia. Safemoon CEO, John Karony, revealed that they are in conversation with the Gambian government for the project’s approval. Operation Phoenix aims to connect wind turbines to mobile towers, thus giving internet access to the population of Gambia.

WILL OPERATION PHOENIX BE A GAME CHANGER?

In order to gain access to the Safemoon services, such as internet and energy, one would need to buy into the service using SFM tokens, which they hope will act as an alternative to the Dalasi, which is the current currency of Gambia. The revenue generated from the wind turbines will be used to buy and burn Safemoon tokens.

If the Gambian Government helps bring this to fruition, there is no telling how big Safemoon could get. SafeMoon also wants to establish its own blockchain, cryptocurrency exchange, hardware wallet, and macro Internet of Things infrastructure. To improve exchange operations, the team has applied for an EU e-money license. In Q2 2022, the SFM card, a critical product for the exchange’s operation, will also be available.

As part of Operation Phoenix, Safemoon’s CEO also announced the construction of the web3 network. Karony, who is working on the popular mesh technology, believes it will be a game-changer, attracting more people to the Safemoon environment.

The future of Safemoon, “safe” to say, looks promising.
