Dogecoin Founder Denies Ties With New Shiba Inu-Inspired Project

The creator of Dogecoin, Billy Markus, took to X to issue clarification concerning a rising rumor spree. 

The rumors signaled Markus’s association with a Shiba Inu-inspired project, giving rise to a plethora of new speculations.

However, Markus has denied any such allegations, adding that he has no involvement with the newly launched Sheboshis project.

What is the Sheboshis Project All About? 

Sheboshis, a new crypto project, has been garnering incredible attention as of late. Its token, SHEB, is said to have been inspired by meme crypto Shiba Inu and its upcoming NFT collection, dubbed Shiboshis. 

As far as its backstory is concerned, the token refers to itself as the wife of SHIB, the original Shiba Inu token. 

The alleged association of Markus with Sheboshi’s project gained spotlight on X, where a user asked Markus a question concerning his involvement with the meme coin. 

The Dogecoin creator was quick to say no, putting a full stop to any such speculative spree. 

The Dogecoin Creator Reveals His Bitcoin Investments

As far as humor goes, Billy Markus is known for his incredible intellectual prowess. While discussing his BTC proceedings on X, Markus revealed his Bitcoin stash, stating he owns roughly 0.06 BTC. Statistically, this would roughly amount to $311. 

He later shared how he would like to celebrate Bitcoin’s $100K price ascent. 

Markus had earlier shared how he had once sold his crypto holdings to purchase a Honda Civic car.
