Journalist and author Camila Russo’s book “The Infinite Machine,” which tells a story about a group of feuding hackers who transferred Ethereum into what is it today, will become a motion picture less than 2 years since it was released. What’s more, is that renowned Hollywood personality Ridley Scott will be one of its producers.

Considered one of the best directors in the world, Ridley Scott has created some visual masterpieces over the years. His ‘The Gladiator’, ‘Alien’, and ‘The Martian’ received several Oscar nominations and housed the biggest names in Hollywood, such as Russel Crowe, Matt Damon, and Christian Bale.

Commenting on the production group, author Camila Russo said “I can’t imagine a better team to turn the riveting story about the people behind the most revolutionary technology since the internet into a feature film that will capture the hearts of our generation.”

No movie or documentary on Ethereum can be complete without including Charles Hoskinson, who co-founded Ethereum along with Vitalik Buterin. Hoskinson, who left Ethereum in 2014 and later went on to create Cardano, pondered over which actor could play his role in the upcoming film in a Tweet.

Although it’s pointless playing a guessing game, actors who have invested in cryptocurrencies are more likely to understand certain technical aspects than some others and would make for a more logical choice. Among them, some prominent names include angel investor Ashton Kutcher, NFT owner Johnny Depp, Bitcoin holder Hugh Laurie, and action hero turned scam victim, Steven Seagal.

The Ethereum movie based on “Infinite Machine” will be directed by Shyam Madiraju, while Ridley Scott, Tom Moran, Vera Meyer, and Alejandro Miranda will be producers. For the moment, details regarding actors and launch dates have not been publicly revealed.
