Nonetheless, the experts were less bullish on Binance Coin (BNB) than they were in January of this year. Back then the panel predicted BNB to reach $527 by the end of the year, compared to their current prediction of $274. This is a 48% drop from their January forecast.

However, there isn’t much discrepancy in their long-term predictions for Binance Coin (BNB). In January they said the coin would reach $975 by 2025, versus $781 for July. Their 2025 predictions have dropped by 20% from January. Moreover, they predicted BNB to touch $2,488 by 2030, compared to $1,814 as of now. This is a 27% drop in their outlook.

Will Binance coin rise that high?

The panel wasn’t unanimous in their predictions. Some individuals were more bullish than others. While some were not sold on Binance Coin (BNB).

John Hawkins, a senior lecturer at the University of Canberra, predicts BNB dropping to $180 by the end of the year. His judgment is based on the coin’s volatility. He further added that BNB “largely follows the price gyrations of Bitcoin and has little real-world use”.

On the other hand, Ben Ritchie, managing director of Digital Capital Management, is more bullish than others. He predicts BNB to hit $300 by the end of the year. He believes the coin has potential as a deflationary asset.

Now, BNB’s performance is hinged on the Binance exchange platform. Any tarnish on the exchange would reflect on the coin too. The “investigations” into the platform by the SEC have raised some eyebrows. Although there is no document to prove that there is an active probe, the papers could be exempted from the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) under exemption 7. Nonetheless, CEO CZ has denied any investigation by the agency and said that the exchange is in constant communication with the watchdog.

At press time, BNB was trading at $268.20, up by 5.3% in the last 24 hours.
