We have been living in times of technological and financial reformation. We are seeing cryptocurrencies including meme tokens like Dogecoin, Floki Inu among others enter the mainstream real, which was just a dream until a couple of years back. However, crypto has grown far and wide and is challenging e-commerce giant Amazon.
Interestingly, this feat was achieved by the Floki Inu, a meme token that aimed to shed the tag of a meme coin. The FLOKI token momentarily flipped AMZN to trend number one on Stocktwits, the original social platform for investors and traders across all asset classes.
This marked a big achievement for the FLOKI team and community, as the token was able to take over the number one spot after Amazon touted profits in its earning report, following a massive spike in its share price.

Although FLOKI slipped to the second spot at the time of press, this was big news for the crypto community as Stocktwits recently launched a crypto trading platform on Thursday.
Stocktwits was among the online message boards used by an army of retail traders last year to drive profits in meme stocks GameStop [GME.N] and AMC [AMC.N], which resulted in huge losses for hedge funds.
Stocktwits members make use of a cashtag, which was a dollar sign before a stock ticker, to share their tips or idea related to a company. The social media platform analyzed these posts and message volumes around the ticker to aggregate sentiment and list out the most trending stock on its platform.
After the addition of crypto, FLOKI taking over the first spot shed light on its prominence in the crypto and the support it has been receiving. However, this support was not without relevant progress of the ecosystem. Watcher.guru reported that Floki Inu partnered with Indian Super League’s Kerala Blasters which fueled its adoption rates. In addition to this, TechTree Education also joined hands with Floki Inu to build the Premier Crypto Educational platform, Floki University.
With the Floki ecosystem expanding, it would be able to challenge many more tech stalwarts in the future.
