However, on Tuesday, Feb. 28, ETH was trending with another number as the prefix. With over 10.8k tweets, “1000 ETH” was the talk of the crypto town at press time.

Well, the same was associated with an NFT sale. Kyle “Mongraal” Jackson recently sold his “Dookey Dash” key NFT to billionaire Adam Weitsman for a whopping 1,000 ETH [worth $1.6 million]. Mongraal previously offered the NFT for 3,333 ETH [$5.4 million].
Announcing the same, he tweeted,
“I have agreed to sell the key for 1000 ETH to Adam Weitsman. Super nice guy and thrilled the sale went through with him.”

Yuga Labs to receive ‘full’ royalties for NFT sale
Furthermore, Mongraal went on to specially “thank” Yuga Labs and affirmed that royalties “will be paid in full.” Notably, Yuga Labs is the creator of the NFT. Thus, it will receive 5% of the sale in royalties. The same amount would be approximately 50 ETH [$81.5k].
Mongraal earned the one-of-one key by topping the skill-based NFT game Dookey Dash. In the latest tweet, the creator appreciated Yuga Labs for “hosting an incredible competition.” The ‘Golden Key’ is set to unlock something special from Yuga Labs. Nevertheless, the specific details are not yet out.

Needless to say, the NFT sale topped the charts on Tuesday. On the other hand, four different Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs occupied the 2nd–5th positions. Explicitly, they were sold in the price range of $117k to $109k each over the past 24 hours.
