On the heels of the earnings call, financial institution BMO Capital has doubled down on its price prediction on Google stock (NASDAQ: GOOGL). Brian Pitz, Managing Director of the financial institution maintained his buy rating for GOOGL and increased the price target in a note to clients on Friday (July 17, 2026).

BMO Capital’s Brian Pitz has given Google stock a price target of $455. The analyst revised his price prediction from the previous forecast of $435. That’s an upgrade of $20 in the target, indicating that Wall Street is bullish on Alphabet’s prospects ahead of the earnings call. This also makes GOOGL a must-watch equity, as the asset has bigger upside potential. Traders who take an entry position below the $350 level could make stellar profits.

GOOGL is currently trading at the $348 level on Monday and has dipped nearly 2.6% in five days. If BMO Capital’s price prediction turns out to be accurate, investors can make a profit of more than $100 per share. Traders can expect returns of $107 per share, to be precise with the institution’s prediction. It would also be an uptick and return on investment (ROI) of approximately 31% from its current price of $348. Therefore, an investment of $1,000 could turn into $1,300+ if the forecast reaches the target.

The expectations of Wall Street on Alphabet’s earnings are high, with consensus Q2 earnings per share (EPS) pegged at $2.86. This is a 23.8% jump year-over-year, indicating growing confidence in the search engine giant. The main metric Wall Street will closely watch is the performance of Google Cloud. Last quarter, it grew at an explosive 63% and hit $20 billion. Alphabet must grow beyond this number to make Google stock comfortably climb the $400 mark.
