During high-speed chases, passenger-seat cops will check for traffic before making risky turns. And injured officers now struggle to recover rather than instantly dying, while sirens realistically echo off buildings and nearby structures.

Take-Two Interactive has recently issued copyright strikes against modders who were recreating the GTA 6 map, including a popular creator known as ‘Dark Space.’

Dark Space stated:

“I think my map could have ruined the surprise of their map, which I get. If you spent years building out this amazing game world just to have some YouTuber spoil the experience of the map’s shape, size, and vibe… I’d want it removed too.”

Former Rockstar developer Obbe Vermeij also defended the company’s actions:

“Take2/R* are a commercial company. They will take down mods that interfere with their business interests.”
