Speculations are rife that GTA 6 could be released sometime in early 2025 between January and February next year. The rumor of its early release stems after an ‘insider’ leaked the launch date on the Reddit social media platform. Multiple leading fan pages of the Grand Theft Auto franchise picked up the revelation and posted it on their platforms.

The revelation comes from the Reddit user u/JarlOfRivia who had previously accurately described the trailer 1 of GTA 6 even before its release in December last year. The visual depiction of his revelation matched the trailer perfectly leading to his new prediction of its release gain weightage.

GTA 6 Rumored Release Date: January or February 2025

The infamous u/JarlOfRivia has now revealed that Rockstar Games could release GTA 6 between January to February 2025. That’s less than a year from today and only nine or 10 months away from the described timeline.

“GTA 6 will reportedly launch in early 2025 (January – February), according to an insider. This is less than a year from now,” tweeted a leading fan page. “This was leaked by an insider, u/JarlOfRivia who managed to watch and accurately describe multiple scenes from the GTAVI trailer hours before it was leaked and revealed”.

Reports are out that the trailer 2 of GTA 6 might be released in May 2023 this year. However, Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have not confirmed the trailer 2 launch date. The makers of the game have not confirmed the release date of GTA 6 either.

The launch date is kept under wraps with little to no details provided by Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games. Therefore, the revelation made by the user must be taken with a grain of salt. The user is not an official member or spokesperson of both the companies.
