‘I Sold Everything Except Shiba Inu & Dogecoin’: Says Early Bitcoin Adopter

Jeremie Davinci, a Bitcoin influencer shot to fame after an old video resurfaced online where he urged people to buy at least $1 worth of Bitcoin. Davinci made the video in 2013 titled ‘Bitcoin Update – Just buy $1 worth of Bitcoin please!” The video was widely shared on social media last year and the early Bitcoin adopter shot to fame overnight.

The 6:23 minutes video pressed all the right buttons and investors who listened to his words of wisdom and purchased Bitcoin back them, have all mostly turned millionaires. Davinci has now turned his views towards Shiba Inu and Dogecoin.

Close to a decade down the line, Davinci is still advocating cryptocurrencies, especially his all-time favorite Bitcoin. He’s been regularly tweeting about top cryptos to his half a million followers on Twitter.

However, the early Bitcoin adopter recently tweeted that he sold his holdings and only owns two cryptos at the moment. He revealed that he now owns just the two dog-themed cryptos Shiba Inu and Dogecoin.

“I sold everything except SHIB and Doge!” he tweeted.

His tweet went viral on social media with both Dogecoin and Shiba Inu army of followers sharing it widely. Just when investors believed his tweet is too good to be true, Davinci tweeted that he was just joking.

He tweeted a GIF that displayed, “It was a joke” and caption it, “Not exactly but kind of true.”

Nonetheless, it is now believed that Jeremie Davinci has his portfolio filled with Shiba Inu, Dogecoin along with other cryptocurrencies.

Both Dogecoin and Shiba Inu took the crypto world by storm after Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced he invested in Doge in 2021. Doge and SHIB became the talk of the town last year and all major exchanges listed them in no time. However, SHIB and Doge have been on the backfoot this year and barely saw price growth.

The two cryptos have been dwindling this year and shed all the profits they generated last year. The top two dog-themed cryptos are down nearly 90% from their all-time highs. Also, a quick recovery is nowhere on the horizon and the bear market has taken over the financial world. The crypto market has been bearish for six months straight making investors lose all their profits generated last year.

At press time, Dogecoin was trading at $0.079741 and is down 4% in the 24-hours day trade. On the other hand, Shiba Inu was trading at $0.00001056 and is down 5.1% in the day’s trade.
