Ledger’s NFT marketplace will focus on security and transparency
Ledger’s new platform will allow users to store, create, and distribute NFTs more securely and seamlessly. Since the Ledger’s primary aim is security, the company won’t compromise on that.
“Ledger Market’s value proposition is three-fold. First, it is built on Ledger’s world-class security standards. Second, Ledger Market is built to be inclusive. It will be accessible to creators, brands, and newbies. Third, Ledger Market is a turnkey solution enabling true ownership and control over NFTs, from minting to storing, for all industry players.”
Sebastien Badault, VP Metaverse & Web3 at Ledger
During the launch, Ledger is partnering with major brands, including Tag Heuer, Brick, and non-fungible token projects DeadFellaz and RTFKT. Additionally, Ledger is introducing Ledger Enterprise Create, a platform that enables businesses to grow their Web3 initiatives and safely enter the NFT market.
Ledger CEO Pascal Gauthier stated that the company wants to be with the creator through the entire journey from minting to distribution and production.
“The new NFT management platform will allow brands and institutions to create and own their smart contracts, mint and distribute tokens & NFTs and manage digital assets treasury, all from a single platform built on the most advanced governance and security standards.”
Ledger is also launching Ledger Quest. It is a web3 aimed game that rewards players with NFT. But before diving into NFTs and web3, Gauthier stated that a basic understanding of these technologies is necessary. Since education is the key, it is also rolling out Ledger Academy for users to understand the fundamental blockchain technology and security.
