Nvidia stock (NASDAQ: NVDA) closed Friday’s bell at $215.33, sliding 1.90% and shedding 4.18 points. The dip came even after NVDA delivered robust earnings and exceeded all market expectations. Wall Street analysts called it the classic case of “post-earnings exhaustion gift.” The GPU maker has been heading south in a similar fashion in almost all recent earnings calls, even after delivering profits.
Now that the fatigue moment of the earnings call is ending, leading investment bank UBS has realigned its price prediction. The global bank wrote in a note to clients that Nvidia stock is currently trading at a steep discount. According to UBS, accumulating NVDA at this price level would be beneficial to investors. Also, buying the dips from here and adding them to the portfolio raises the chances of earning bigger profits.

Timothy Arcuri, the Managing Director at UBS, maintained his strong buy rating on Nvidia stock. The analyst wrote in a note to clients projecting that NVDA is on a path to reach the $280 level. His previous price prediction was at $275, but he has now increased the target by $5. This makes the GPU maker bullish, and should be among the must-watch stocks on Monday’s opening bell.
The 25x increase in dividend, $80 billion share buyback, with the already existing $39 billion, is what made UBS retract its Nvidia stock price prediction. Wall Street and retail investors have largely been behind NVDA for its robust performance. While the equity struggled in the first quarter of 2026, it has managed to stabilize in Q2.
If the price prediction from UBS turns out to be accurate, then an investment of $1,000 could turn into $1,300. Timothy Arcuri has given an upside of 30% for Nvidia stock, which is among the most bullish forecasts compared to other Wall Street analysts. NVDA is also a long-term stock, and holding on to it for five or 10 years will generate bigger returns.
