Nvidia Stock Gains 6% In Pre-Market After Stellar Earnings Report

Nvidia (NVDA) stock price is surging in the pre-market hours after the company released its second quarter earnings report for fiscal 2027. Nvidia (NVDA) closed 1.59% (3.39 points) lower on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. However, the earnings report has led to a substantial gain in the pre-market hours, rallying 7.83% (16.42 points).

Nvidia Stock Price To Continue Surging After Earnings Report?

Nvidia’s (NVDA) quarterly earnings have once again beaten analyst expectations. The company’s revenue came in at $96.22 billion, higher than the estimated $92.17 billion. Nvidia’s revenue has nearly doubled from $46.7 billion a year earlier. Earnings per share came in at $2.22 adjusted, compared to the expected $2.10.

Nvidia (NVDA) has been the highlight of the stock market over the last few years. The company is undoubtedly the biggest beneficiary of the AI boom. According to CFO Colette Kress, Nvidia’s revenue for the fiscal year 2028 could surge by 70%.

Nvidia (NVDA) maintains strong outlook for the next quarter. The company anticipates revenue to hit $108.0 billion, plus or minus 2%, in the third quarter of fiscal 2027. Meanwhile, GAAP and non-GAAP gross margins are expected to be 74.0%, plus or minus 50 basis points.

Nvidia (NVDA) also saw the backing of several high-profile names over the second quarter, which may have further driven confidence. The company partnered with Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs and KKR to mobilize over $500 billion of third-party capital for AI infrastructure. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk also said during SpaceX’s earnings call that the company will build exclusively on Nvidia chips. Musk said that Nvidia hardware is currently the best for AI computation.

While Nvidia (NVDA) has outperformed analyst expectations once again, investors seem have cooled on the stock. Nonetheless, Wall Street continues to remain bullish on NVDA, citing its strong position in the AI data center and chip industry.
