US President-elect Donald Trump holds over $5,400,000 in crypto, according to a new valuation from Arkham Intelligence. The crypto-minded returning president’s holdings have surged 3.61%, a $196.6K% total, Arkham’s crypto intelligence platform reveals.

Donald Trump holds various cryptocurrencies, with Ethereum (ETH) leading the list. According to Arkham, Trump holds 495.664 ETH, valued at $1.71M. Polygon’s WETH is in second, with Trump holding $1.64M in wrapped Ether. He also holds over $1 million in his namesake TRUMP coin, approximately 579 MAGA meme tokens worth $1.73 a pop.

Shortly after Donald Trump won the historic 2024 presidential election, the crypto market responded. Moreover, excitement abounded among industry participants about what his appointment could mean for its growth. Donald Trump has amassed a collection of cabinet members that seemingly favor the cryptocurrency industry since his nomination. Last week, Trump nominated Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick as Commerce Secretary. The pro-Bitcoin executive could be a key player in the development of the country’s digital asset policy.

Furthermore, the crypto sector has boomed in value since Donald Trump’s US election win. Bitcoin (BTC) leads the charge, with the asset reaching new all-time highs and rising 40% in the past month. With the industry growing in value, Trump’s crypto wallet is also rising, with the president-elect’s collection growing in worth each day.

According to Arkham Intelligence, Trump’s crypto wallets last made transactions two months ago. The crypto wallet aggregator reveals several transactions in his wallet including the USDC stablecoin, Ethereum, and WETH. Trump primarily uses Coinbase for his crypto wallet.

Recently, Bloomberg reported that Trump and his team were considering the creation of the first-ever White House crypto role. Indeed, the report notes that Trump has been discussing the idea with cryptocurrency executives throughout this week. The position, if created, would have the sole responsibility of digital asset policy. Donald Trump’s crypto advisory council is also expected to set up the nation’s first strategic Bitcoin reserve.
