Saitama’s NFT card game Shiryo grabs eyeballs at Crypto Expo Dubai

The second edition of Crypto Expo Dubai, the event where investors and crypto industry leaders get to network and explore business opportunities in the space, had a great start yesterday. Today, the second and final day of the event is also set to be filled with networking, speaker sessions, and new business opportunities.

As highlighted in earlier articles, prominent names from the space including Impact XP, Saitama, and Shibnobi had things pre-planned for this mega crypto festival. For instance, WatcherGuru had previously reported that Internet sensation Hasbulla Magomedov was set to make an appearance for Saitama.

How things have panned out for Saitama so far

Sticking to the schedule, Magomedov did grace the occasion yesterday. In fact, a particular video of him saying, “It’s called wolf-fack” started doing rounds on Crypto Twitter.

Leaving aside the celeb appearance, Saitama’s stall additionally boasted of a host of accessories. Amongst them, ‘Shiryo’ managed to steal the spotlight. As such, Shiryo is an exclusive NFT trading card game that intends to revolutionize the trading card game industry.

Shiryo’s phase 2 went live yesterday and in fact, its native SHIRYO token bagged a listing on MEXC Global. Per the official tweet, the SHRITO/USDT pair will begin trading on the exchange at 8:00 UTC on Friday, 18 March.

The overall feedback about the game has been pretty satisfying. A particular gamer with the username Crypto Mario, for instance, took Twitter to exclaim,

“The game is so good and addicting!!”

Adding on the addiction element, another gamer with the Twitter user handle ASPARAGUS stated,

“I opened some of my #Shiryo cards pack and got good beast cards and spell cards. I can’t stop opening the cards packs”

Saitama’s “Saitamaguru” is down with Covid. He took Twitter to state that he had been tested positive a day before his flight. As a result, he wasn’t allowed to travel. He has, nevertheless, been attending meetings via zoom over the past few days and would continue doing so for a while.
