Following his recent arrest, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has reportedly been moved to the same New York Jail unit as FTX co-founder Sam Bankman-Fried. Indeed, both criminals have been moved to a specific section of the Brooklyn Detention Center that houses those who require “special protection,” NBC Reports.
Bankman-Fried is among the most notorious white-collar criminals in US history. One of the most prominent faces of the crypto sector had been arrested for fraud in late 2023. Now, he is joined by one of hip-hop and entertainment’s most notorious names as his concerning list of criminal activity begins to be unearthed.

Diddy and SBF Now Housed in the Same Brooklyn Jail Unit
Sean Combes was arrested last week and is now being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center, a federal jail, in Brooklyn. The prison does not have the greatest reputation. It is widely known for its violence and the poor care given to those it houses.
In an interesting turn of events, ‘Diddy’ Combs has been moved to the same jail unit as Sam Bankman-Fried. The latter was sentenced in March of this year. Moreover, he is currently serving the first of his 25 years in the facility. He was the ringleader of one of the largest financial crimes in the country, stealing over $8 billion through his FTX and Alamed research platforms.

The unit that houses both Combs and Bankman-Fried features as many as 20 other inmates. Moreover, it is designated for those who require increased protection and are typically of a high-profile nature. Although it is still a general population, it does boast higher levels of security.
Combs was arrested on conspiracy, sex trafficking, and other abuse charges. The indictment he currently faces is rooted in a plethora of sexual abuse allegations issued against him. To this point, he has yet to be convicted or plead guilty. He was ordered to remain in jail during a September 17th court appearance, as his trial is pending.
