Shiba Inu burn movement lures new supporters

Shiba Inu [SHIB] and the ever surging developments in its market have been lauded by many. Sending SHIB into dead wallets or carrying out burns is widely practiced in the market. Several members of the community have stepped up and taken the initiative to carry out burns. Prominent crypto payment gateway, NOWPayments recently made an announcement that aided in the burn movement. As per this announcement, the merchants of NOWPayments were allowed to easily burn SHIB.

Now, in more recent developments, a prominent merchant has stepped up and revealed its interest in burning SHIB. Plug Shop, a sportswear store affirmed that it had collaborated with NowPayments to carry out Shiba Inu and LEASH burns.

The clothing store has a prominent user base and close to 90k Instagram followers.

The burning mechanism curated by NOWPayments allows merchants to seamlessly burn both Shiba Inu and LEASH. The store entails the ‘Burn SHIB & LEASH’ which aids in kickstarting the process.

Additionally, Welly, the SHIB-themed burger chain also revealed that it would engage in the burning of the altcoin. The firm stated,

“The first news of Welly contributing to burn SHIB came through the agreement with NowPayments where we will automatically burn a % of SHIB on each payment made through now payments (currently ERC20 transaction fees are extremely high.”

Shiba Inu celebrates 150k followers on Instagram

In a world full of influencers, Shiba Inu caught the eye of Instagram users. The doge-inspired altcoin has been growing in terms of popularity and its following is further proof of the same. Shib currently has a whopping 153k followers on Instagram.

Despite garnering a following of this magnitude, Instagram hasn’t verified the account. This is likely to be attained in the coming days, the community speculated.
