The Shiba Inu burns have been moving forward in full steam. Its burn portal, Shibburn, was launched in April of this year to reduce the circulating supply of SHIB tokens. Additionally, users also receive rewards for burning SHIB.
According to Shibburns’ data, the month of June saw the incineration of 4.55 billion Shiba Inu tokens. Of this, 219.66 million SHIB were burned within the last 24 hours. Additionally, the burns were conducted with 400 different transactions. The burned tokens are valued at $46,446.
Additionally, Shiba Inu’s burn rate saw a 219.71% spike after the 219 million SHIB were sent to the dead wallet.
There are several well-known Shiba Inu burners. Among them are Travis Johnsons, 1Cent Token, and ETH SHIBA. 1Cent token burned 385.55 million SHIB and took the lead for the month. ETH SHIBA took second place with 290 million burned SHIB tokens, and Travis Johnson claimed the third position with 234 million burned SHIB.
Travis Johnson, whose Twitter account is “SHIB Super Store,” also shared a new way to burn Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens. Using Johnson’s referral link to subscribe to Amazon’s audible would give him a $5 commission, and Johnson said that he would use this money to burn SHIB tokens. Users can also sign up for a free trial and cancel the subscription if they do not like it.
Johnson had previously also used Amazon’s affiliate program to burn SHIB tokens.
