Travis Johnson, whose Twitter handle goes by the name “SHIB Super Store,” has shared news of an opportunity to burn Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens. According to the tweet, anyone registering for a free Audible trial will get a $5 bounty from Amazon. Moreover, every sign-up will burn around 500k Shiba Inu tokens. However, interested users will have to use Johnson’s referral link.
Johnson is a mobile game developer and a significant contributor to SHIB burns.
Users may utilize the Audible free trial for one month. If users are unsatisfied, they can choose to end the subscription.
The game developer previously revealed in a tweet that if somebody signs up for the trial above via his referral link, he will receive a fee. He has already received $10 from sign-ups, and Johnson intends to use the commission to burn Shiba Inu tokens.
In the tweet, he claimed that if the number of sign-ups on his link jumps to 100, 1,000, or perhaps even 10,000, the quantity of burnt SHIB through this new Amazon function might increase significantly.
This is not Johnson’s first attempt to burn SHIB tokens using Amazon’s referral link; he had previously used the Amazon affiliate program to burn SHIB tokens.
Shiba Inu Developments
Shiba Inu has been on a roll of late. The famous dog coin is seeing greens after a phase of heavy reds.
Fans, investors, and whales are eagerly awaiting the launch of Shibarium, the layer-2 network for SHIB. A recent update has revealed that the initiative could go live in Q3 of 2022, and many are expecting a pump for that reason.
However, SHIB burns have dipped as of today. After a spike of 1,405.70%, the burn rate has dropped to -5.18%.
