In a recent Twitter post by RICHMONDBOI, who appears to be working with fashion designer John Richmond, revealed the new home collection of the renowned designer. In the post, Richmondboi asked his followers if they would like the John Richmond Home Collection to be featured in the newly announced Shiba Inu Metaverse, which is named SHIB: The Metaverse.
The SHIB team has just announced the new metaverse, which will have 100,595 plots of land and 4 different districts. The announcement has been met with much welcome and praise.
Richmondboi’s Twitter post received a reply from the great designer, with a “shh” emoji. This can be interpreted as the designer teasing that there is some truth to the assumption that his new home collection will indeed be a part of Shiba Inu’s metaverse.
The John Richmond and SHIB collaboration was announced in February 2022. The collaboration will see the creation of an undisclosed number of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) which will be displayed at the Milan Fashion Week 2022. However, with the latest update, it would appear that these NFTs may also be a part of Shiba Inu’s metaverse.
Is 2022 the year for Shiba Inu?
This year has been very eventful for Shiba Inu (SHIB). The project has seen multiple listings, and several collaborations. Not only that, but the ecosystem has also witnessed many small businesses accept SHIB as a form of payment. These businesses vary from car dealerships to ambulance services. The new metaverse announcement, too, has been met with a lot of applause.
Upon announcement of the new name for their metaverse, Shiba Inu rallied up by 4%. The name “SHIB: The Metaverse” would allow the project to focus on the heart of their community ideals while also cultivating a strong message that establishes the project’s identity.
Shiba Inu has been very successful in its growth. The token has seen its fan base grow daily. SHIB’s official Twitter account, just today, crossed the 3 million followers mark, which is a big step in the growth of the tokens.
At the time of publication, SHIB was trading at $0.00002767.
