Shiba Inu has finally dropped a new teaser for their upcoming game. The game is being developed in collaboration with PlaySide Studios. The partnership was initially announced in December of 2021. It was revealed that the company would create a digital collectible card game.
The teaser depicts an animated Shiba Inu dog wagging its tail. It then cuts to what appears to be a karate dojo. A dojo is a fighting hall in martial arts. This leads to speculation if the upcoming title is a fighting game. The game was first thought to be a collectible card game, but it could have some fighting elements.
Nonetheless, the teaser does not provide any launch date.
Playside Games, registered as PlaySide Studios Limited, is Australia’s largest publicly listed game developer. In December, the estimated time for completion was eight months, and as we enter July, we are one month away from the estimated launch.
Shiba Inu X Exo Viewer X BEANS NFT
Moreover, the teaser also mentions Exo Viewer and BEANS NFT.
Exo Viewer is a platform that allows users to display NFTs in a 3D environment. PlaySide Studios have developed the platform. This could mean that the characters in the game are NFTs that could be traded.
Furthermore, BEANS NFT is a collection of 10,000 unique collectibles on the Ethereum chain. It is possible that the NFTs could be playable in the Shiba Inu game. In Addition, the Shiba Inu game may have some tie-ins with the upcoming BEAN LAND multiplayer game. The BEAN LAND game is set in a shared metaverse. The two might have character cameos with SHIB’s metaverse in the works. However, there is no official word on this.
Shiba Inu has a wide range of launches coming up. The project is also working on a fourth token, namely TREAT. This is supposed to be the new reward token. Moreover, their stablecoin Shi is also in the works.
At press time, Shiba Inu was trading at $0.00001006, down by 2.5% in the last seven days.
