Following an announcement on their official Twitter account, Shiba Inu announced the release of an NFT collection named SHIBOSHIS.

Shiba Inu creators silently dropped an NFT collection that will only be available on the Metamask wallet. The official site to get information about the NFT collection is shiboshis.shibaswap.com. We also noticed that the same page will be hosting the market for the NFT Collections.

The Response

The NFT collection sold out barely 35 mins after its successful launch according to a tweet from Watcher Guru.

Why NFTs?

You would not question Shiba Inu’s involvement in NFTs except you have not been following recent events in the Crypto space. Also, the meme token might be looking to replicate the successes of Cryptopunks and Bored Ape Yacht.

NFTs provide a way for digital creators to sell their art and get paid handsomely for it. NFTs are a method of transforming reproducible digital items such as photos, videos, audio, and art files into unique items; marketplaces use blockchain technology to establish a verified and public proof of ownership for such items. Shiba Inu has been all over the news due to the power of Elon Musk’s Tweet and in a bid to stay more relevant, the creators of the meme coin are increasing the use cases of the token.

Prospects of Shiba Inu

We expect that the market price of Shiba Inu continues to soar with its involvement in the NFT Marketplace. Sources say the Meme token are also in talks with world-class AAA game studio to produce the SHIBOSHI game. We can only expect that the meme token continues its bull run. Although, many people will refer to Shiba Inu as a Dogecoin copy, looking to cash in on the hype. But the project definitely “evolved” into something much more useable than the original. According to Coin Market Cap the meme token is currently priced at $0.00002745 with a market capitalization of $10,838,864,116.95.
