Data reported by U.Today has shown that Shiba Inu (SHIB) was dropped by whales in the trillions on the Shibarium release date. Specifically, metrics have shown that the number of SHIB held by whales had fallen by 10 trillion on the arrival date of Shibarium’s public beta.
Additionally, the data has shown that the largest Shiba Inu holders currently have custody of 250.66 trillion SHIB. Moreover, 14 of the largest token holders maintain 25.5% of the initial meme coin offering and 45.57% of the current amount of the token, according to U.Today’s data.
SHIB Movement on Shibarium Release Date Revealed
The prevalence of meme coins in the digital asset industry is one of its most interesting developments. Alternatively, long known for its volatility and community, one sector of the industry has finally received its long-awaited upgrade to the ecosystem.
Now, data on how the token reacted is being made public, with some interesting results. Specifically, U.Today reported that Shiba Inu (SHIB) was dropped by whales in the trillions on the Shibarium release date. Noting that a total of 10 trillion was dropped on the public beta arrival.
Currently, 40 addresses hold around 12.36% of SHIB. This percentage is equivalent to 121.52 trillion of the token. Alternatively, the release of Shibarium was a notable day for the ecosystem, with retail investors also welcoming the release with fewer SHIB than a day prior.
Specifically, the U.Today data shows that retail investors dropped 230 billion SHIB on the Shibarium release date. Moreover, that represents the second-largest group of SHIB holders, with a combined holding of 200.7 trillion of the meme coin.
Shibarium Roadmap Revealed
Conversely, blockchain developer NOWNodes, has also announced the first step of its Shibarium Roadmap. Specifically, the developer took to Twitter to report that it will open a pre-release form for individuals to gain access to the Shibarium Mainnet nodes.
Shibarium is currently expected to operate in three phases. Those include the beta phase, the mainnet development phase, and the official mainnet release. Alternatively, NOWNodes is currently executing internal tests alongside the beta phase to prepare for the eventual mainnet release.
