Shytoshi Kusama, lead developer of Shiba Inu tweeted that he shared a “big idea” with the core SHIB team. The idea, he said, could “shake up the crypto space“. However, the ‘big idea’ remains to be a mystery as he did not reveal nor give a hint of what it might be.
“Just ran a big idea past the Core Team and Alphas. If agreed, I think we might just shake up this crypto space. Do a good deed and have fun at the same time,” tweeted Shytoshi.
Shytoshi shared a blurred image of what appears to be a dog in the park and hinted at something big. The core SHIB team shared the tweet with the caption “something is brewing”. Nonetheless, the ideation behind the tweet and what’s exactly brewing remains to be a mystery too.
In addition, despite the image being blurry, the graphics seems to be impressive and close to realistic. Graphics can make or break a development or video game, and the image hints it could be of top quality.
During #ShibAma, SHIB’s Discord moderator, Queenie revealed there would be a big announcement at the beginning of 2022. However, Queenie did not make an announcement and it is rumored that the blurred image could be the upcoming announcement.
A user reminded Queenie of the announcement. He tweeted, “Hey @QueenE_OCE, you said that a huge announcement was scheduled for the beginning of 2022. I know it’s still early this year, but you got any updates about it? Cheers!”
Queenie replied the announcement is “inbound” and the team is working on it. “All I can say is that it’s still inbound!! We’re trying to get everything ready as quickly as we can. But quality > quantity and trust me the wait will be WORTH IT.”

SHIB has a lot of developments planned out in 2022 and will be released phase-wise. The developments include Shiabrium, Shibosis NFTs, ShibaSwap 2.0, ShibaNet, partnership with PlaySide Games, SHIB play-to-earn game among others.
