As per the data available on Crypt Eye, a mysterious Shiba Inu (SHIB) whale purchased 1,713 trillion SHIB tokens. The tokens are worth a whopping $22.2 million. A majority of the tokens (one trillion) were purchased within 24 hours. The wallet currently holds a total of 24 trillion SHIB tokens. The total value of the tokens is an eye-watering $319.2 million.
As of now, it is unclear whether the wallet belongs to an investor, or is connected to Shiba Inu developers. Nonetheless, the wallet is the 6th largest SHIB holder. The largest is the “dead wallet” used for SHIB burns. The dead wallet set a new burn record in August with 3.6 billion SHIB being removed from circulation within the month.
Major developments for Shiba Inu
One of Shiba Inu’s most anticipated launches of this year is the upcoming Shiba Eternity game. The game was released in Vietnam for beta testing and from what people are saying online, it is a big hit in the country. Furthermore, there is word that the game will have different versions. First will be a mobile version, which can be downloaded from Google’s Play Store, or Apple’s App Store. Additionally, the mobile version will have in-app purchases.
Meanwhile, there will also be a blockchain version of the game, which will be released after the mobile version. Moreover, the blockchain version will be developed on Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s L2. Shibarium is another anticipated launch scheduled for later this year.
Although there has been some relief in the markets, the prices have far from recovered. According to Santiment, the number of active daily addresses for Shiba Inu increased from 4,600 to 6,200. Additionally, the number of SHIB holders is also on the rise. The number of Shiba Inu addresses increased by 7,718 over the last week.
