With 2021 coming to an end, Shiba Inu will go down as one of the most talked-about crypto asset for the year. Although the meme cryptocurrency gained popularity as Dogecoin-killer, Shiba Inu has managed to carve out its space in the crypto-verse. The project was now on track for an upgrade of ShibaSwap, Shiba Inu’s decentralized exchange.
So, what to expect from ShibaSwap v2?
The 2.0 version of the decentralized exchange will introduce a host of new features along with some changes.
However, like most things about the Shiba project, the developers have not revealed a lot about the ShibaSwap update. But, Eric M., one of the lead developers working with Shiba posted on Shiba Discord that the upgrade will include a “full UI/UX redesign.”
The developer added,
“ShibaSwap 2.0 won’t be just a swap platform but a crypto portal.”
Not much can be understood about the ‘crypto portal’ at the moment, users were speculating it to be a hint to involve bridges to other blockchains. As per reports, a change in the UI/UX could also see the addition of other features like Sniff Score. During a recent AMA, the team also revealed that all new platforms will have SHIB burns.
Even though the clarity lacks around the goals and objectives of ShibaSwap2.0, the community had already embraced it.
While another Twitter user added,
“We know #ShibaSwap V2 is being worked on.
We will have many surprises in 2022. This community decentralized project is only a little bit over a year old.

It will be a sight to see when the upgrade is launched, as the community will drive the price. There is already much hype about the upcoming changes and the upgrade may push SHIBA’s rally.
