Shiba Inu memecoins are among the most successful cryptocurrency projects in the market. Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Floki (FLOKI) are some of the biggest names in crypto. However, Manyu (MANYU) could become the biggest Shiba Inu coin yet. Let’s discuss how a single tweet from the official Dogecoin page led to a massive surge in MANYU’s popularity.
Dogecoin Tweet Leads To MANYU’s Surge
On Dec. 31, the official Dogecoin X page posted a picture with four Shiba Inu dogs, but one with black fur, with the caption, “tag that one friend who still uses dark-mode on their phone.” The post did not mention any crypto project, and no promotions were involved. However, the post led to a massive shift in attention towards Manyu (MANYU), a black fur Shiba Inu dog. The project’s official page replied to Dogecoin’s post, stating, “Dark mode activated.”
Dogecoin does not run paid promotions. Moreover, its social activity has been organic, casual, and detached from short-term narratives. That’s precisely why this post stood out. It made MANYU the center of attention.
MANYU has seen incredible growth since its inception. The project is currently one of the fastest-rising Shiba-themed assets on the Ethereum network. Shiba Inu-themed crypto projects have often seen big debuts, but the hype dies down for most of them. However, MANYU seems to be breaking the trend. The asset seems to be quickly climbing the charts, while the larger market is yet to recover from last year’s crash.
Manyu (MANYU) could see continued growth over this year as the crypto market shows signs of a recovery. Many anticipate Bitcoin (BTC) to climb to a new all-time high in 2026. Bernstein expects BTC to hit a new peak of $150,000 sometime this year. BTC hitting a new all-time high could trigger a market-wide rally. Manyu (MANYU) could also climb to a new peak under such circumstances.
