According to the Minister of Interior of Montenegro, Filip Adzic, Terra Founder Do Kwon has reportedly been arrested in Montenegro. Moreover, Do Kwon had been charged by the SEC a month ago, with the Department of Justice executing its own investigation into the TerraUSD collapse.

Adzic stated that Kwon was apprehended in Podgorica, Montenegro. Subsequently, he was found in an airport with “falsified documents,” and was taken into custody on the suspicion of his identity by Montenegrin police.

Terra Founder Finally Apprehended

Terra Founder, Do Kwon, has reportedly been arrested in Montenegro. Specifically, The Minister of Interior of Montenegro, Filip Adzic, took to Twitter to report Kwon’s apprehension by Montenegrin authorities.

Adzic stated that Do Kwon was located, and arrested, in Podgorica, in central Montenegro. Moreover, his statement note that Montenegrin police have apprehended a person thought to be the South Korean fugitive.

Additionally, Adzic stated that the founder and former CEO of Terra is responsible for “40 billion dollars” in losses to users. Moreover, he was apprehended at a Podgorica airport while maintaining “falsified documents.” Conversely, he has stated authorities are currently waiting for a confirmation of identity.

The Terra founder was under investigation from several countries, including the United States and Singapore.
