Time and time again, investors are reminded by the fact that Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin has nothing to do with Shiba Inu. However, certain things occur, and our minds often rethink that he might really have to do something with SHIB.
The confusing thought pattern happens because nobody knows who the founder of Shiba Inu ‘Ryoshi’ is. Nobody knows who the lead developer of ShibaSwap, Shytoshi Kusama is either.

Therefore, our minds naturally connect the dots and imagine any big personality who talks/wears SHIB has got something to do with the meme token. Which in reality, is not the case.
Vitalik Buterin attended the ETH Conference in Denver and to everyone’s surprise, he sported a flashy Shiba Inu-themed pants. If that wasn’t enough, he also wore a Shiba Inu-themed watch. Pictures of his attire were all over social media some suggesting he’s a part of SHIB, while the others suggested he could be a SHIB investor.

Many others dug up old pictures of Vitalik posing alongside a Shiba Inu dog with his core-team members outside a conference.
Nonetheless, those are just speculations. None of it is confirmed and can’t be taken at face value. The only connection that Vitalik and SHIB have is that the founder of the meme-token donated 50 trillion tokens to him during launch. Vitalik on the other hand donated the assets to India’s Covid-19 relief fund in 2021 along with other cryptocurrencies.

Vitalik Buterin had Previously Denied He’s The Shiba Inu Originator
Vitalik having to do something with SHIB first came out of Ryoshi’s blog. Ryoshi had written that a ”fren” helped him to launch the meme token. Many believe that the ”fren” in question could be Vitalik.
“First thing is I had a fren that I met at devcon last year in Osaka who has some influence in the space.We talk sometimes about Crypto philosophy and I told him the vision and he agreed to help. So he made a token contract and put half of it on Uniswap with 10ETH pair. (He is successful business man so 10ETH is nothing for him). And threw away the liquidity keys so the ETH or the tokens can never be withdrawn. He then transferred the rest to me to do my part.”
A lot of talks about Vitalik Buterin being the originator of Shiba Inu pops up every now and then. However, Vitalik had once denied that he’s the originator of SHIB during an interview with Lex Fridman. The interview was uploaded on June 5, 2021.
