The crypto market fell victim to macroeconomic uncertainty over the last month and a half. Better-than-expected jobs data also played a hand in the ongoing market scenario. Bitcoin (BTC) briefly fell to the $82,000 price level, but has since reclaimed the $85,000 mark. With volatility high, let’s look at two economic events this week that could further impact the crypto market.

The first economic event to look forward to is Tuesday’s September PPI (Producer Price Index) inflation data. The figure will give an insight into consumer goods and retail prices. The PPI data will likely give clues on the Federal Reserve’s next move. Crypto market participants will likely take positions based on the PPI data.

Tuesday will also see the release of the September Retail Sales data, November Consumer Confidence data, and October Pending Home Sales data. All the figures will add up to how investors take their positions. Given the data, the crypto market could see a spike in volatility in the coming days.

Wednesday will bring the US Q3 2025 GDP data, September Durable Goods Orders data, September PCE Inflation data, and September New Home Sales data.

Tuesday and Wednesday may trigger increased volumes for the crypto market. Unfavorable figures from the authorities may trigger another market-wide correction.

However, if the data is favorable, it may lead to a surge in investor confidence. Better figures may also lead to high chances of another interest rate cut. The recent market correction was likely due to diminishing chances of another rate cut in 2025. However, a change in scenario could lead to a market rally.
