Meme-currencies are the rage in 2021, and both common people and whales don’t want to miss out on its phenomenal returns. Investors who missed the Dogecoin and Shiba Inu’s pump are getting into Floki in the hopes of making it big.
The coin has also marketed itself both online and offline platforms and attracted new and first-time buyers into its fold.
The Rise of Floki Inu
Floki Inu was launched in June 2021 and immediately became a household name among crypto investors. The coin sky-rocketed after Tesla CEO Elon Musk named his dog, a Shiba Inu breed, as Floki. Each tweet by Musk about his dog made the token reach new all-time highs.
Investors believe that as long as Musk has his back on Dogecoin and Floki, there’s potential for the coin to shoot up. In other words, Musk seems to have invisible strings and plays with its price indirectly through his tweets.
Floki Inu, at the time of publishing, was trading at $0.00015797 and is up -23.8% in the day’s trade.
